Program Description
Students get an introduction to Handbag and leather goods design and construction.
This program will provide a unique and comprehensive overview of handbag design including sketching, leather exploration, construction skills, and pattern drafting.
Students learn the handbag design process from original sketch to finished product.

Level:
Beginners. No previous experience is required, only a strong desire to learn the exciting handbag design process.

This program is available to all graduates of the Fashion Merchandising Module “A” Program.

Handbag Design II

Program Description
Students design a unique, cohesive collection of handbags, selecting their own materials, colors, and sources of inspiration. The program is designed to allow students to develop their design work into a collection of 3 bags. Students learn new construction and finishing techniques and work with a wider range of materials. Students work on more advanced techniques as used in luxury handbags and accessories.

Level:
This is an intermediate design, patternmaking, and construction program.
